The electoral commission of Ghana has announced two days extension of the ongoing voter registration.
The exercise, originally scheduled to end on May 27, will now continue until Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
A statement from the commission explained that this extension is a remedial measure to address network issues that disrupted the process during the first two days.
“This arrangement compensates for the network challenges experienced at the start of the registration exercise. The commission is committed to ensuring all eligible voters have the opportunity to register.
“We encourage all eligible citizens who have not yet registered to visit the commission’s office in their district to register to vote,” the statement said.
