Former TTAG President, H.E Jephthah Kwame Sefah (Captain), addressed the audience at the Accra College of Education's handing over and induction ceremony on May 18th, 2024, providing crucial updates on trainee allowances.
He announced that the payment of outstanding allowances would take no less than two months, and clarified that the usual payment of GH¢ 200 would be made directly to trainees' E-zwich cards, contradicting previous reports of GH¢ 149.00.
Trainees can expect to receive at least two months' worth of allowances in the coming days. Notably, the allowance amount has been increased to GH¢ 200, a welcome change for trainees. Additionally, the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) is scheduled to make a payment this week, so trainees are advised to prepare their cards accordingly.
