A Crisis That's Leaving Students in Limbo: Gh Edu Pro advises.

As I sit down to write this article, my heart goes out to the thousands of teacher trainees who are facing an uncertain future. The CETAG strike, which has been ongoing for weeks, has brought the academic calendar to a grinding halt Thus to say academic calendar and activities are totally corrupted.  And now, with the interlocutory injunction case filed by the NLC adjourned to August 6th, it seems like there is no end in sight.

The strike has affected not just the students but also their families, who are worried about the future of their children's education. The colleges of education are struggling to feed the students currently in school, and it's only a matter of time Principals in colleges of education will urge students who are currently in school to go home.

I spoke to a few students who are currently in school, and their stories are heartbreaking. "We're stuck in limbo," said one student. "We don't know what's going to happen next. We're trying to stay positive, but it's getting harder by the day."

Another student told me that she's worried about her future. "I want to become a teacher, but with the strike ongoing, I'm not sure if I will be able to graduate on time. It's frustrating and scary at the same time."

The academic calendar which is supposed to be 14 weeks, already the strike has taken five (5) weeks leaving Nine weeks and still strike is on. The nine weeks left,  includes main exams, mid semester, On- campus teaching practice and others. And now that everything is postponed to 6th August, just imagine! We are not even sure of what will happen that day, the same old story could repeat.

Gh Edu Pro is advising students currently on campus to go home and help their parents rather than staying in school being unproductive.

The CETAG strike is not just about the teachers; it's about the future of our children. It's about the quality of education they'll receive. It's about the kind of teachers they will have. And it's about the kind of society we want to build.

As I write this article, I'm reminded of the power of education. Education has the ability to transform lives, to break cycles of poverty, and to create a better future. But for that to happen, we need to invest in our teachers. We need to value their contributions. And we need to support them in their fight for better working conditions.

The CETAG strike is a wake-up call for all of us. It's a reminder that education is a fundamental right, and that it's our responsibility to ensure that this right is protected. Let's come together to support our teachers. Let's come together to support our students. And let's come together to build a better future for all.

The time has come for our dear teacher trainees to return home and utilize their skills productively, rather than feeling unfulfilled and idle in school. It's a gentle reminder that their valuable talents and energies are needed elsewhere, where they can flourish and make a meaningful impact. Just as a seed requires fertile soil to grow, our teacher trainees need a nurturing environment to blossom into their full potential.

Let us encourage each other to spread their wings and share our knowledge, passion, and creativity with the world. By doing so, they teacher trainees will not only enhance their own lives but also enrich the lives of those around them. A gentle nudge is all they need to unlock their true potential and make a positive difference in the world.
