Information received by Gh Edu Pro indicates that teacher trainees will now be provided with two meals per day, instead of the usual three meals per day. This change will affect the current feeding schedule, and trainees will need to make necessary adjustments.

Each trainee per head is being fed GHC 8 per day; this comprises breakfast, lunch, and supper.
Last year, 1.50ps of teacher trainees' allowance was deducted to add to the feeding component. So that money was added to the GHC 8 for which PRINCOF used to feed teacher trainees.
But this year PRINCOF wanted to do that again. And they can't do that without informing Teacher trainees so they served a proposal to TTAG to see if they could go by that again.
TTAG made all SRC presidents bring their ideas. From the ideas of the SRC presidents across all colleges of education in Ghana, they had to do voting and voted no; they will not agree for Ghc 1.50ps to be deducted from the allowance of Ghc 200 teacher trainees receiving and add to PRINCOF's feeding budget.

Then PRINCOF said should be the case. If not, they can not force trainees but they can not also continue to feed trainees with Ghc 8 per head, so for that matter, instead of feeding trainees three square meals, they will now go by feeding trainees with two meals daily.
Then the two other meals, trainees will feed themselves.
Therefore, teacher trainees must decide which meal to sacrifice: breakfast, lunch or supper?
This is a developing story; stay tuned with Gh Edu Pro for further updates.
