Become a Recognized Teacher in Ghana: GTLE Registration Now Open

  The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE)   registration portal is now open for the September 2024 exam.


The National Teaching Council (NTC) is dedicated to ensuring that only qualified educators enter the teaching profession. By passing the GTLE, you'll demonstrate your expertise and commitment to providing high-quality education.


Who Can Register?

Candidates who have resit in the Subject-Based GTLE can register for this sitting.

New candidates with a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma can register for the first time.


Before you can register you have to purchase a GTLE voucher, ensure you have received your NTC Indexing Number before. This is a crucial step, so don't miss it!


How to Purchase a GTLE Voucher

 Visit any GCB or Prudential Bank branch nationwide to buy a GTLE 2 (September 2024) voucher.

 Or, simply dial 

*772*51# to use mobile money and choose option 4


After purchasing your NTC Indexing Number and Voucher, it's time to complete the final stage of registration.

How to Register: A Simple Guide

1. Visit the National Teaching Council's website again: https://exams.ntc.gov.gh/

2. Click on "New Registration" - this is where you'll start the final leg of your journey.

3. Enter your:

  •     Serial Number
  •      PIN
  •     NTC Indexing Number.

4. Click "Submit" - you're getting closer!

5. Choose your preferred exam center from the list - make sure it's convenient for you.


If you are able to do it correctly, then You've completed the registration process.


It is expected that the exams comes on 17th september to 19th september.
