In a heartfelt plea, the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) has appealed to the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) to provide clarity on the ongoing strike and reconsider their position. The strike, which began despite a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) being signed on July 24, 2024, has left students in a state of uncertainty.

TTAG's appeal comes after PRINCOF's earlier request for CETAG to suspend the strike and resume academic work. The trainees are eager to return to their studies and are seeking guidance and support from CETAG.

The appeal highlights the impact of the strike on the academic journey of the trainees and expresses trust in CETAG's commitment to their welfare. TTAG is urging CETAG to prioritize their well-being and return to the lecture halls soon.

But CETAG is clear no payment no class

The situation remains uncertain, and the trainees await a prompt response and resolution from CETAG.
