Information reaching Gh Edu Pro reveals that, colleges affiliated with the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have put resit exams on hold. This decision comes as the university works to resolve issues with the exam results displayed on their online portal.

UEW is currently prioritizing final-year students, as they are set to graduate soon.

Teacher trainees at UEW have raised serious concerns about mistakes in their exam results. They claim that the results shown on the online portal are different from those they saw earlier on notice boards and in exam offices.

Before the introduction of the online portal, trainees could only check their results by visiting their exam offices or reading the notice boards.

While the portal was meant to make things easier, it has created several challenges. Some students have reported seeing results for courses they never registered for, while others who didn’t have resits on the notice board results now find resits listed on the online portal.

One trainee shared their frustration, saying, "I didn’t have any resits according to the notice board, but now the portal says I do."

Some course results have still not been released.

Trainees affiliated with the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) were expected to take their resit exams during the vacation, but this has been postponed indefinitely until further notice.
