Teacher Trainees Raise Concerns About Mismatched Exam Results on UEW Portals - Gh Edu Pro

 

 Teacher trainees affiliated with the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have raised concerns about their exam results. According to the trainees, the results displayed on the university’s online portals are not matching the ones they originally saw on notice boards and in exam offices.

For a long time, trainees affiliated with UEW did not have access to an online portal. The only way they could view their results was by physically visiting their exam offices or checking the notice boards. Things changed when UEW introduced online portals for these trainees, aiming to make it easier for them to check their results.

However, this change has not gone as smoothly as expected. Not only are some trainees noticing differences between their online results and the original ones, but there are also cases where courses have been mixed up. "Some of my courses have been switched with courses I didn’t even register for," said one trainee. "It’s frustrating because I don’t know which result is the correct one."

Gh Edu Pro spoke with several trainees who expressed their frustrations. Many have been left confused, as some of their results are not only wrong but are also interchanged with unrelated courses. One trainee shared, “I checked my portal, and instead of my Educational technology grade, there was a completely different course listed. How do I explain this to anyone?”

These issues have left many trainees worried about how the discrepancies might affect their academic records and progress. Another trainee voiced concerns, stating, “This is stressing us out. I don’t want to end up with a wrong grade on my transcript because of this mistake.”

Trainees are now calling on the university and the Colleges  to address these problems and ensure that the results displayed on the portals match the original records. As their concerns grow, they hope for a swift resolution from UEW to bring clarity and peace of mind to all those affected.
