Exciting news for all teacher trainees! The long-awaited allowance has finally been paid.
A message has been sent to trainees, asking trainees to visit banks or near by E-zwich venders and load their E-zwich cards to withdraw their allowance.
Interestingly, yesterday, Razak Soale the president of TTAG gave a hint about the payment on his Facebook page, creating some excitement among trainees.
His post hinted that the allowance would be paid soon, and indeed, it has now been confirmed an amount of GHC 310
Some trainees have just received their allowances, while others are yet to receive theirs.
The first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, teacher trainees received only two months' allowance out of the four months they were owed. The remaining two months have now been paid.
