Follow these simple steps to buy your SHS placement checker voucher:

1. Make Sure Your MTN MoMo Account is Active
   To use this method, you need an MTN Mobile Money account. If you’re using a different mobile money service provider, you can dial *790024# to purchase the voucher.

2. Dial *170# on Your Phone
   This will open the MTN Mobile Money menu.

3. Select "MoMo Pay & Pay Bill"
   From the menu options, choose MoMo Pay & Pay Bill to start the process.

4. Choose "Pay Bill"
   After selecting MoMo Pay, you'll need to select the option to pay a bill.

5. Select "General Payment"
   This is the option you’ll use to make your payment for the voucher.

6. Enter the Payment Details

   • Payment Code: Enter FAST
   • Amount: Enter 15 GHS (the price may change, so be sure to check the latest cost before proceeding).
   • Reference: Enter SHS

7. Confirm Your Payment
   Enter your MTN Mobile Money PIN to confirm the payment.

8. Receive Your Voucher Code
   Once the payment is successful, you'll receive a text message with your SHS placement checker voucher code. This code will be sent to the phone number you used during the transaction.

How to Check Your School Placement on the CSSPS Portal

For students who have just completed their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), it’s time to check your school placement. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process easily.

Visit the computerissed schools placement system (CSSPS)

Go to https://www.cssps.gov.gh/ to access the official CSSPS portal. This is where you’ll check your school placement.

Enter Your Index Number
Input your ten-digit BECE index number and add "24" to indicate the year of completion. For instance, if your index number is 234604370, type it as  23460437024

Provide the Pin Code Details
You will need your serial number and pin code. Enter both to move forward.

Submit and Check Your Placement
After filling in the details, click on “Submit” and wait for your school placement to appear on the screen.

Print Your Placement Form
If you have been successfully placed, print out the placement form. Take this form to the school you have been placed in to begin your admission process.

Self-Placement Option
If you are not placed, you can take part in the Self-Placement process, where you can select from available schools with vacancies.
