Berekum College of Education has taken another significant step in its partnership with Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg (HBBK) in Münster, Germany.
A 10-member delegation from the college is currently in Germany for a special academic and cultural exchange programme.
The programme began on November 13, 2024, and will end on December 5, 2024. This is the third international exchange between the two institutions and a testament to their growing collaboration.

The team includes two senior staff members, Mr. Mark Gyan Asuah and Mr. Dominic Nti, and seven students:
- Emmanuel Asante
- Josephine Gyamerah
- Mavis Henewaa Obeng
- Eunice Asabea Boakye
- Ramsey Boahemaa Ameyaw
- Atta Adjei Boateng
- Simon Boateng Apraku
Leading the team is the Partnership Coordinator, Mr. Andrews Ohene Darteh.

This exchange aims to help participants gain global exposure and new professional skills. The programme includes:
- Academic discussions
- Classroom observations
- Cultural immersion activities
- Collaborative projects with students and staff at HBBK
These activities are expected to improve participants’ teaching and learning experiences while promoting cross-cultural understanding.

This initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in areas like quality education and global partnerships. The experience will not only benefit Berekum CoE but also inspire innovative practices in teaching and learning in Ghana.
The delegation will return to Ghana on December 5, 2024. They are expected to bring back valuable knowledge and ideas that will further strengthen the college’s commitment to excellence.
