The Principals Conference of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has announced a change in the re-opening date for all Colleges of Education across Ghana. Initially, students in Levels 100, 200, and 300 were scheduled to resume on November 18, 2024. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the new date for re-opening is now January 13, 2025.
In an official letter addressed to all principals, PRINCOF’s President, Prof. Samuel A. Atintono, emphasized the importance of relaying this information to students and staff as soon as possible. He also noted that a revised academic calendar will be issued shortly, which will reflect the new term dates and ensure smooth planning for the academic year.
This decision affects all Colleges of Education under PRINCOF’s jurisdiction, and the change was made to address specific needs that have arisen unexpectedly. Principals are encouraged to keep their students informed and to prepare for the revised opening date.
Stay tuned for further updates as the revised calendar is released, and make sure to mark January 13, 2025, as the new start date for the academic year.
