The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), is offering scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year. These scholarships are for women, people with disabilities, and marginalized groups who meet the requirements and are ready to study at AAMUSTED.


Available Programs

The scholarships cover 2-year diploma programs in various fields, including:

1. Construction Technology

2. Wood Technology

3. Electrical and Electronics Engineering

4. Architecture and Digital Construction

5. Welding and Fabrication Technology

6. Automotive Technology

7. Mechanical Technology

8. Fashion Design and Textiles

9. Catering and Hospitality

10. Information Technology

11. Cyber Security and Digital Forensics



Who Can Apply?

To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Be aged between 15–25 years.

2. Have written the WASSCE in 2021, 2022, or 2023.

3. Be admitted to study any of the listed programs.

4. Come from one of these regions: Northern, Northeast, Oti, Savannah, Upper East, Upper West, or Volta.

5. Have attended a Senior High School in any of these regions.

6. Written the WASSCE in schools outside these regions but are from the specified regions can also apply.

7. Not be benefiting from any other scholarship scheme.

8. Be willing to give back to their community through service.

9. Pass a selection interview.

 Deadline for Submitting Applications:

The deadline corresponds to the end of the sale of AAMUSTED application forms. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.


How to Apply

Once completed, submit your forms in person at any District Education Office in the eligible regions or email them to fawe@fawegh.org.


Important Notes

The forms are free, and no extra fees are required at any stage.

Applicants must carefully read the guidelines before filling out the form.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
