UEW Extends Application Deadline for Applicants - Apply here | Gh Edu Pro

 

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has extended the application deadline for direct undergraduate applicants. The new deadline is Tuesday, 7th January 2025. Prospective students now have more time to apply for admission into UEW.

Obtain an Application Voucher

You can purchase an application voucher from any of the following outlets:

• Online: Visit the UEW website.
• Mobile Networks: Dial *887*9# on all networks.
• Banks:
  • GCB Bank
  • Agricultural Development Bank (ADB)
  • Republic Bank
  • Zenith Bank
  • Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG)
  • Prudential Bank
  • Access Bank

Cost of Application Vouchers

• Undergraduate (Direct and Mature) – GH¢255.00
• Diploma & Post Diploma/Bachelors – GH¢255.00
• Postgraduate (MA/MEd/MFA/MSc/MBA/MPhil & PhD) – GH¢325.00
• International Applicants (Undergraduate & Postgraduate) – USD 100.00

Complete the Application Form

• Go to the UEW admissions portal at uew.edu.gh/admissions and use your Voucher PIN to complete the application form.
• Ensure you have the following documents and details ready in soft copies:
  • Results/Certificates
  • Passport picture
  • National identity card
  • Active phone number
  • Active email address

Note for Postgraduate Applicants

• Applicants seeking admission into graduate programmes are required to submit referee reports via email to uewsgs@uew.edu.gh.

Apply as Awaiting Results

Final year Senior High School students who wrote  the 2024 WASSCE examinations can apply for the 2024/2025 academic year while awaiting their results.

Applicants in this category should:

• Provide details of registered WASSCE subjects.
• Select “awaiting” in the corresponding result section of the application form.

Once the WASSCE results are released, applicants will have the chance to upload their results. Further instructions on how to do this will be provided later.
