[Good News ] Workshop on Salary Migration for Colleges of Education Staff ( CETAG) Underway in Accra - Gh Edu Pro

The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF), has organized a workshop to address salary concerns for staff in Colleges of Education. The event, titled the "Test Report Reconciliation & Correction Workshop," focuses on transitioning staff to the universities' salary structure.



The workshop started on 16th January 2025 at the Tomreik Hotel in Accra and will end on 20th January 2025. Representatives from various organizations are attending to ensure a smooth and transparent process.

Who Is Participating?

Representatives from the following groups are part of the workshop:

  1. Ministry of Finance (MoF)
  2. Ministry of Education (MoE)
  3. Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)
  4. Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC)
  5. PRINCOF
  6. Colleges of Education Tutors Association of Ghana (CETAG)
  7. Colleges of Education Non-Teaching Staff Association of Ghana (CENTSAG)
  8. Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD)

In total, 24 representatives are participating in this important event.

The workshop officially began at 10:00 AM on 16th January 2025, with participants checking in earlier that day. Discussions and activities will continue until 20th January 2025.



This workshop demonstrates the commitment of stakeholders to improving the working conditions and salaries of staff in Colleges of Education. The outcome is expected to benefit educators and non-teaching staff significantly.
