The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF), has announced a change in the re-opening date for the 2024/2025 academic year.
PRINCOF informed all staff, students, and stakeholders that the first semester, originally planned to start earlier, will now begin on January 27, 2025.
This decision was made after a recent meeting held in Sogakope on January 8, 2025. PRINCOF explained that the adjustment was necessary due to unforeseen issues requiring immediate attention.
Commitment to a Smooth Academic Year
PRINCOF acknowledged the inconvenience this change might cause to students, staff, and stakeholders. They assured everyone that they are working diligently with relevant authorities to resolve the issues and ensure a smooth start to the academic year.

The notice expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation of all involved, emphasizing PRINCOF’s commitment to delivering quality education.
Stakeholders Notified
Copies of the notice were sent to the Minister of Education, the Director-General of GTEC, affiliate universities, principals, and other key groups like CETAG, CENTSAG, and TTAG.
As the new date approaches, students and staff are encouraged to prepare accordingly.
